 NYC Five-Borough Tour  On June 9, 2021, OSL’s musicians will perform a livestreamed concert of composer Valerie Coleman’s Portraits of Josephine. Written for woodwind quintet, this work celebrates the life of the famed performer and social justice activist Josephine Baker.
OSL’s School Concerts for Spring 2021 introduces young audiences to contemporary composer and flutist Valerie Coleman. ​

Nu Deco Ensemble Will Reimagine Earth, Wind & Fire With Richard Bona At Miami’s North Beach Bandshell

Miami’s 30-piece Nu Deco Ensemble will return to the North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach on Saturday, April 10th, for another livestream performance, this time featuring Cameroon-born multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Richard Bona. The performance next month will feature the music of Valerie Coleman, along with a symphonic reimagination of Earth, Wind & Fire‘s celebrated catalog of songs.
